Snellville Church of Christ: About Us

The Church of Christ in Snellville was established in September of 1972. It began with just a handful of members who met at South Gwinnett High School. In 1975, the congregation had grown enough to acquire its own facility. By 1978, the congregation had grown enough that another move was needed, so the families pulled together and purchased the property where we now meet today. An auditorium was built and then later modified due to continued growth.

When all was said and done, that building had a capacity of just under 600 people. God has continued to bless us with growth to this very day. Our newest auditorium houses over 1000 people and we are anxious to fill those seats with people seeking to know our Lord.
