Jesus Loves The "Young-At-Heart"

This past Tuesday, I had the privilege of driving the church bus for our "Young-at-Heart" group to go on their annual trip to Ellijay, GA, for apples. What a great time we all had together! Our "Young-at-Heart" group is always gaining new members. The "Young-at- Heart" group has their regular meeting at 7 p.m. in the fellowship room on the 3rd Friday of each month. The members of this wonderful group do many good works in the church and the community here and enjoy their fellowship together.

As I was driving our bus back to Snellville, Anne McLeskey handed out a special song that we all sang together on our way home. I think every "senior saint" will especially appreciate the lyrics of it.

Jesus loves me, this I know, though my hair is white as snow.
Though my sight is growing dim, still he bids me trust in Him.

I love Jesus, does He know? Have I ever told Him so?
Jesus loves to hear me say that I love Him every day.

"Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love" (John 15:9, 10, NASB).

Yes, Jesus loves us all-young & old, every race & every nationality, rich & poor, small & great. "Jesus loves the little children...," and "Jesus loves the Young-at-Heart" too!
